Joey Clapper started out designing album cover graphics in the early 70's for groups like the rolling stones and Alice Cooper. After graduating film school and while writing scripts, he helped out the family jewelry manufacturing business with his creative talents and soon after won a Diamonds for Men Award and the DeBeers Diamonds Design Contest. After spending a few years in the jewelry industry. Joey saw a need for bridal line that combines contemporary platinum engagement rings with classic styling. So, in 1996, The Joey Clapper line was introduced, with every ring being an original copyrighted design. The line became an immediate hit, receiving both tremendous customer responses as well as industry acclaim
