Johann & Paul have been creating jewelry together for over 20 years. Their strength in design and metal finish is based in the completion of intense 5 year apprenticeships served in New Zealand: Paul's in hand engraving and the jewelry arts and Johann in aircraft engineering, perfectly complementing each other.
Born in New Zealand, Johann and Paul's work often reflects the culture of the native people of New Zealand, the Maoris. The graceful lines of Maori carvings in wood, bone, and the ancient art of tattooing has had an influence on some of Kiwi Gold's designs. For 18 years Johann and Paul have been continually adding to their designs and skills, incorporating opal, diamonds, precision fabrication as well as hand engraving to create a unique style so unlike any other.
